My father has always said he was related to a Pilcher who lived in West Point, VA. Recently I started looking from the bottom up and ended up at your Thomas Pilcher,Sheriff of Essex Co, VA who seemed to have been the one who married Elizabeth Bray 15 Jan 1812. Somewhere else I found reference to him having been the son of Mason Pilcher, Sheriff of Stafford Co, VA. Would be interested in sharing details on the Pilcher's of Essez and King William Cos, VA.
