Francis Piles Origin

I am looking for a connection from Francis PILES, Leonard PILES and Richard PILES to William PYLE, born in Pennsylvania ca 1775. However that may be debateable. He grew up in Virginia, married Mary JANES or JONES. Their first son was Zachariah, born in 1799. Second son was Robert PYLE, born 1800. Following the birth of their third son Thomas, they moved from Virginia to Ross County Ohio where they filled out their family with another 10 children. Most of these were un-named daughters. I feel that a strong family resemblance warrants a closer look for a connection between this family and that of Francis, Leonard and Richard. Family HART Pennsylvania Dutch Genealogy lists both Francis and Richard Piles. Their Francis PILE was married to a ? CLAPP born in Sidbury, Devonshire around the year 1611. In as much as my grandfather Grant S. PYLE always claimed Pennsylvania Dutch heritage, I would like to hear someone elses thoughts concerning this. The PYLE/PILE family book runs Francis PILES descendant Zachariah PILES Jr and his family together from page 211 to page 488 with my family. Is this an error or is it reality>
