I am looking for the father of John P. Piles/Pyles born
about 1852 in Georgia. His mother was Louisa G. Pyles born about 1829. He had the following siblings, Mary J. (1853) Catherine (1854). Charity (1855), Willie A. (1857) and Missouria (1858-1860)
John P. married Mary M. about 1874 and had the following
children William Edward, Lewis C., Raymond J., Charley B.,
and Mattie Lou.
John, William, Charley, and grandson Glenn were all killed
in a boiler explosion in Heard County, Ga. in 1914.
