My family moved to Tn around 1850 or just before from Johnson, Chatham, and Wilkes county N.C. As a matter of fact, the first child Margarette, was born in one county and then the next child was born in another county working their way toward Tennessee. I am from Tennessee and any information you can give me on the Pilkingtons you have from these counties would be greatly appreciated. William and Betsy (Slead) Pilkington. They were both born in N.C. around 1812-13. I have alot of information and facts on this family but am having trouble getting any further. Thanks.
