Yes, that's him. His wife Sarah was the daughter of John Porter, and the widow of John Lillington. Sarah was not the mother of Seth's daughters; his first wife may have been a daughter of Christopher Gale.

He had many legal dealings with a Thomas Pilkington, of the island of St. Christophers ; this Thomas also bought land in Beaufort Co. I'd guess this Thomas was his brother. I have posted many land deed abstracts, some with metes and bounds information, at:

Does anyone know more about these Pilkingtons? Were they brothers? Who were their parents? Did Thomas leave a will, and if so does it mention land in NC?
