TALLAHASSEE, Fla. Ernest William Pilkey, 81, died Tuesday in Tallahassee. Jun/1/2005
He was born in Jamestown, N.Y. to the late Ernest W. D.D.S. and Clara (Bishop), moving to Tallahassee from New Jersey 20 years ago.
Mr. Pilkey was a veteran of World War II, serving as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific theater.
He was a 1948 graduate of Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa. and worked as vice president of Columbia House Records, a division of C.B.S. in New York. He was a retired purchaser with C.B.S. in New York.
Mr. Pilkey was predeceased by his sister, Mary Jane Erickson.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Doris (Haffner); three daughters, Barbara Everett, of West Caldwell, N.J., Marsha Riggs, of St. Louis, Mo. and Camilla Ruben, of Evans, W.Va.; a sister, Betty Ann Wilson, of Westfield, N.Y.; nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

PILKEY, Elliott A died Feb 13, 1928 lot 193 * in 1920 census is b Canada about 1872 is 48 wife Jennie A 51 Canada, daus Celestine, 34, Irene 21, Mildred 19 and Florence 14 the women are still here 1930
Also their son Ernest William Pilkey b Sept 24, 1896 in Brocton, who was a student of Dentistry at the time of the WWI draft , at the age of 21
