I know the original name was Pilkinton, and the name originated around 1297 A.D. The Pilkinton name comes from farmers as a way to distinguish them. I looked up the record when I was in London several years ago.

I am looking for the record of Herbert Pilkinton. He would have come from Missouri or close by. He was my Grandfather's father, and was born around 1890.
