Pilkinton code or insignia

Does anyone in the Pilkinton clan have copies of the Pilkinton code and/or insignia? I am presently in an early search to discover the liniage of our family. My grandfather's name was Drewrey taylor Pilkinton, who was married to Mary Elizabeth Nelson. Both are deceased, my grandfather since before 1941. We have no information on either the insignia or code, if there are any. I do know of the "argument" where one brother dropped the 'g' from Pillkington and created a new line. There are so many using each spelling, I do not know who or where to turn. Our family arrived in Texas from the Tennessee or Mississippi areas, in the early to mid 1800's. Any information is appreciated.
Thanks, and may God be with you all in your quests.
