I have a much later reference to a Pillion family from France on the 1880 U.S. Census in Ohio

Name Relationship Year Gender Race Birth Census

Francis Pillion self 1818 M W FRAN OH
Jane Pillion wife 1828 F W FRAN OH

I think these are their children:

Henry Pillion son 1861 M W OH OH
Anna Pillion dau 1865 F W OH OH

I am looking at the 2 1/2 page listing of all people by the name of PILLION in the United States listed in the 1880 Census. I do have access to the 1880 Census at our Public Library on computer and I will double check that this info is correct the next time I go to the library. I think it is. This was the only PILLION family on the 1880 Census that listed thier birth as FRANCE, although many others were born in the USA and I have no way of identifying their birth place.

Good Luck - I hope this information may help you.
