My grandmother was Alice Margaret Marcum, daughter of Jennie Pillion and Arch Marcum of Lee Co., Va. Alice's sisters were Sarah Marcum (married Jeff Pillion)and Rachel Marcum (married Nathan Pillion). (Nathan and Jeff were brothers, I'm told).
I'd love to hear from anyone out there who has any info, oral history or rememberances about Sarah or Rachel, or of their parents, Jennie Pillion and Arch Marcum. I do have info that I'd be happy to share as well. I also have old photos that belonged to my grandmother Alice that I am trying to identify. I believe they are of Marcums and Pillions. If anyone has any old family photos of this line of Marcums or Pillions, please contact me. By matching up photos we may be able to figure out who these people are.
Last, does anyone have ANY photos of Rachel or Sarah Pillion? I would love to have a copy, as I have no photos of my grandmothers sisters. Please contact me if you do!
