Mary, I have tracked my ancestory back to Alex Kirksey and Mary Jane Pillow. However, it is thru their daughter Senthia Elizabeth (Bettie) Kirksey (b.?, d.April 21, 1925). Have you gotten any new info on the Kirksey/Pillow side? I believe Alex moved to Lauderdale Co., TN, sometime prior to 1870. He is listed in the Lauderdale Co. Enterprise on August 29,1872 as a suspect in a murder in that county. For what it's worth, he didn't do it! The article is neat to read and is pretty lengthy. This is all I know of them. Found anything new?
