My name is Carlia Pillow-Hall. My grandfather is Ruben Lee Pillow. His parents were Ruben Pillow and Hattie. Ruben Lee Pillow was born July 27, 1916 in Helena Arkansas. My grandfather,Ruben Pillow is deceased july 27, 2008.
My grandfather had 3 brothers and 5 sisters, Roy, Moses, Robert, Mary, Ora, Minnie, Ethel and Edna.
Ruben Pillow married in 1934 to Mattie Lee Bowman her family... was from Pealess, Mississippi. My Grandfather came to Chicago in 1943. He bore 3 children with Mattie, Betty,Freddie and my father Roy.
My father is last living sibling of my grandfather. He doesn't remember his grandfather, but remember his grandmother Virginia Scriptor (not sure of spelling)...I am hoping to learn about the Pillow family tree..
