The Pimbley's in South East London
Posted by: Karen Hubbard Date: November 02, 2000 at 07:14:45

My maiden name is Pimbley.
I don't know if there is any connection but my grandfather told us that during the first world war my great grandfather was a spy with the name 'Pim' and so that he couldn't be traced had his name changed to 'Pimbley' after the war?
Has anybody else heard a similar kind of story? Maybe you could tell me if there is any truth in this?
