Hi Jean,
My Grandfathers name appears as John Pim Keirle on his marriage certificate (1890)with his father shown as William Pim Keirle. On his birth certificate (1865) however, he is named as John Pim, father William Pim. I don't know how the Keirle got in there. My great grandmother's maiden name was Wilment, and my grandmother's maiden name was Knight.
