Hi Carrie:
The Pims to whom Malcolm refers left England before 1640 and settled in Ireland. There were two brother, Richard and Robert. They joined with the Quakers and stayed in Ireland for many years. One of Richard's descendants, William Pim, left Ireland in 1730 and came to America with his family. Our Pims originate in Normanton, Upon Soar, Nottinghamshire, England.
