I'm starting to research a couple of Dublin Pims for a short joint article in the forthcoming Dictionary of Irish Biography. I've seen the thorough and useful book by Malcolm Pim's father, and it has provided dates and so on; I'm wondering if anyone has extra material about the careers of Joshua Pim, b. 1748 and Joseph Pim b. 1759? Why did Joseph have the middle name Pike? Are there portraits of these gentlemen? Any information will be very helpful.
