I am working on Mary Pinard right now. I believe she was the daughter of Alexis & Elizabeth. On the 1860 census in VT I found Mary age 21 living in Clarendon, Rutland Co. She was then the wife of John Brothers age 31. They had two children at home, Mary age 2 and Abraham age 3mos. Also in Clarendon in 1860 was Peter Pinard age 19, single, farm laborer. In Wallingford, VT that same year was Joseph Peno age 28 and his wife Lucy/Louisa age 26. The must be newly married as there were no children in the home yet. You probably already know that "Collis Lizard"/Calixte Lessard and wife Elizabeth were also in Wallingford in 1860 with children Salina 21, Delia 18, Rebecca 9, and Sophia 5.
I cannot find the Lessard family or Joseph Peno family on the 1870 census (Possibly because the 1880 census shows Joseph's 7 yr old dau was born in RI- they may have been between towns at census time or back in Canada)
I did find Mary (Pinard)Brothers living in Wallingford in 1870 and married to her second husband, Octave Lord. Besides her two children from her previous marriage they had Matilda age 5 and Ellen (could be Helen) age 3. I found Peter "Peno" age 29 living in Andover, Windsor Co, VT in 1870 with wife Mary age 25 and children Alex 6, Collis? 5, Lewis 3 and Lewis again age 1 (he's William on a later census)
You can see the 1880 census info for all of these people on LDS. Joseph is listed as Joseph "Penoir" and has his mother living with him (her age is written 60 in error), Peter is "Penor" and is living in Windham, Windham Co, VT. Mary is still in Wallingford with husband Octavus Lord. I have some 1900, 1910, 1920 and 1930 census info on some of these people.
Mary (Pinard) Brothers Lord died in Wallingford, VT 2 May 1923. Her husband Octave died there 27 Dec 1930. I have some info on their descendants. Patty
