Hi Peggy, my name is Lawrence Dillard. I am doing research on my wife's side of the family. Her Great-Grandmother was Zella PINDER. Zella PINDER was born in 1885 in Long Island Bahamas. She had at least one sibling a sister named Irene PINDER. I believe their father's name was Marmon PINDER. Zella married a HARDIN and her sister Irene married James ROBERTS. They moved from the Bahamas to Riviera, Fl. (West Palm Beach) Zella was a midwife for the local "Conchs" in the area. Her husband was killed by an automobile while walking across US 1 coming back from the post office in Riviera Fl. I would like to learn more about this family if possible. What I have related is the full extent of my knowledge on this family. Any light you could shed on this family would be greatly appreciated. I learned all that I know from a book called "Conchtown USA". I look forward to hearing from you soon.
