I don't know if we have corresponded before but my Pinder line is also from cherokee sd.
I visited cherokee in l987 and was told by Percivale Pinder who was there at the time but lived in Nassau that there were two lines of Pinders at cherokee and one Richard Pinder had no relatives so all others are connected.
My Joseph Albert Pinder was b. l847 so your Margaret and my Joseph are close in age. Joseph's father was Ridley Pinder but I have not found a record, only on the death record. Ridley did not have a Margaret listed but I will look in my research and she if I can find anything for you. A Ridley Pinder had a land grant above cherokee in l808 and all his children had land grants at cherokee. I have alot of research but have never been able to prove anything.
There is a Margaritte in my line, could it be the same name?
