This may help shed some light on the history of the Pinder family. There is a book called "Conchtown USA". It goes into great detail about the families that came over to Florida from the Bahamas. Families such as the Pinders, Morees, Roberts, Keye, Cates, Sands, Fox, Thompson, Weatherford and Saunders. It shows how they are all related.
It is published by Florida Atlantic University Press in Boca Raton. The Author is Charles C. Foster. It even has recordings of some of the families. I hope this helps you. Sincerely, Stephen Ridge
