Gareth, thanks for getting in touch, Edward Pinder, baptized 1788 in Gainsborough, married Sarah in 1813,children known Edward about 1821, and George about 1823 , george died aged 6, .maybe more children, but would have to get my file's out, and it's late.
Edward married mary Green from Whitton, in June 1842 . they had lot's of children John Green Pindar, Ann Walker Pindar, William Pindar,George Edward Pindar, Sarah Elizabeth Pindar,Mary Letticia Pindar ( Louisa), Joseph Robert Pindar , he was my Great, great grandad. Walker Green Pindar, Henry Walter Pindar, so that's 9 children between 1843 and 1859. Gainsborough seems to have been were they all settled for quite a few years if the census are correct. so this looks like your George Edward Pindar born 1849 was the older brother ( about 5 yrs older ) of my Great, great grandad Joseph. must end now , work tommorrow .

Elaine.
