Hi Peggy,

I was on the Pinders geneology and although I did not read all the posting I realize there are a lot of people researching the Pinders from the Bahamas...From the little I read I understand there are two lines of Pinders?....Well I was on it cause my husbands family are Pinders from Spanish Wells and his grandfather Ray Clark Pinder 1st just passed away and I've heard the stories how most of the island of Spanish Wells are Pinders so I was just looking at the history...I found a site that you may already have but thought I'd share it with you in case you didn't have it....I found it very informative and found my husband's great great great grandfathers on the paternal side...Richard and William Pinder..anyway, the site is...

http://spanishwellspage.com/higgs_families/names23.htm

if you scroll down you will find the pinder names..and to go the the next page on the bottom click the next Pinder-Pinder and so on...Hope you find this helpful and good luck finding what you are looking for!

God Bless,

Yvette F. Abreu
