my great-grandmother (MATERNAL)was catherine pinder. she was born near swineshead in lincs. in the village of bicker. i have traced back the family name in this area to the 12th century. catherine married they moved to sheffield yorks. they had one son my grandfather. catherine had a nephew called ed. who it is alleged went to canada his wife was called renee and they owned a store called pinder(s) i have more info. if this is familiar to anyone
