I descend from the Pinders of the Bahamas and Key West. Recently, my mother discovered a Timothy Pinder buried in the old church in Barbadoes. My line: Margaret Pinder b. 15 July 1842 Cherokee Sound, Bahamas, d.11 Sep. 1927 Key West m. John Roberts b. 5 Apr. 1839 Green Turtle Key, Bahamas, d. 12 Jan 1912, Key West. He was son of John William Roberts and Sarah Russell and grandson of William Russell and Jane Curry. Some of these families had come from the Carolinas during the Revolution. Would love to find connection of the Pinders of Barbadoes and Bahamas. Has anyone done this research? And, would anyone know to whom my Margaret belongs? Thank you.
Pat
