I wonder if my ancestor Catherine Pine 1771 b. could be a sister to your Elizabeth Pine. Catherine's parents were Amos Pine and Catherine Tilley sometimes written Tillee. Their children were James, John b. 1765, Tilley b. 1770, Catherine b. 1771, William b. 1773, Samuel b. 1775, Elizabeth b. 1777, and Daniel b. 1779. Elizabeth's birthdate could be wrong so she could be a sister to Catherine. Amos Pine was born in 1739 in Beekman Twp, Hempstead, Dutchess County, New York and was the son of John Pine and Grace Carman from Dutchess Co NY . Amos, the father to my Catherine died in Lancaster Prison in 1781 in Lancaster, Pa. He was a political prisoner during the revolution. My ancestor Catherine Pine married Samuel Way in 1785 and they moved to Prince Edward County in Canada between 1789 and 1804.
