In brief, my/our distant Pineo cousin from Nova Scotia has a very thorough genealogy of her Pineo line and personally knew the gt grandfather who researched it, as well as having verified this research in person. She is very sure "her" Elijah West Pineo (son of Mark Pineo) never had a daughter, Rachel, nor any wife but Lieuvannah Schofield who he married 15 Mar 1865 in Canning, N. S. She mentions two other Elijah Pineos, including the one appearing in the LDS record, but did not have any information on the mother of Rachel, as listed. She attempted to send this information to you, but did not have the correct email address. If you will send me a current address I shall forward information on Elijah.
