That is right; Uncle Hardy and Aunt Rachel had no children. His given name was Harding, but everyone called him Hardy.They lived next door to my grandparents on Scots Bay Rd.
I am so glad to find that the name was Morton not Norton. Now all I have to do is find out the parentage of her mother, Mary Tamar Tupper Morton. I don't know if she was Mary Tupper who married a Morton as her first husband or if Morton was her maiden name.
