Abigails dad was indeed Elijah Schainholdts, and I have my cousin going on a search with the Drummond Hill Cemetery people to figure out her mother's name. From my work, I've found an Elizabeth Jane Schainholdts, born in PA 1791, m. to James Alexander Weishuhn (UEL), died 5 April 1873 and buried in Lobo Cemetery, Middlesex Co. An 1851 census of Middlesex co (Caradoc Township) says EJ was US born. Another Schainholdts was Mary, b. 1794, married to a Vincent, perhaps also Schainholdts. I have a bit of information on Elijah that states he was a United Empire Loyalist, but the UEL peopl don't have any information to back that up. Doesn't mean he wasn't - just means no one's discovered him yet. Do you want any infor I turn up on this situation, or is it too collateral for you to be bothered?
