Any one please e-mail me direct for explanations of the following;Henry Hensons mother was Elizabeth Talley Henson. Born 1804. Daughter of Prior Talley and wife of James B. Henson.:
In a statement in Cherokee application #16063 Henry Henson says"
1. Susanna Walkingstick was 1/2 sister to my mother.
2. Betsy Walkingstick was their mother.
3. Susanna, and her husband, James Walkingstick, and Betsy Walkingstick came west with us.
4. This was in 1908. He said Betsy Walkingstick has only been dead about 20 years.
In his own application # 16167 he says.
1. James and Susan Walkingstick was my great grand parents.

2. Mathias Talley was my grandfather.
According to the above. James and Susanna Walkingstick were grandparents at age 3. Mathias Talley was a father at age 5.
Betsy Walkingstick lived to at least 131 years old.
