I looked over the info that I found and noticed that the information IS wrong for your grandfathers birthdate. I am very sorry for this mis-information. I got it from the website that I previously mentioned. It was the McCurtain County Genealogical Society Webpage for the online cemeteries.
I do realize that it is best to obtain documents, but there can be mistakes on those records also.

If you have correct information, maybe you can go to that website and inform the volunteers there and they can correct it.

Also, I am not researching this family directly, I just happened upon this information and thought I might be able to help someone else out.

I am researching the name of BLACKSTONE, George B. who was living with PINION, Thomas J. He is listed as "father in law" and that could mean that Thomas J's second wife, Nancy, is Mr. Blackstone's daughter. He and his children Edmond C. and Rosa were listed with them in the 1910 census for Haskell Co.

Again I am sorry if I confused or offended anyone.
