Pinion Family Genealogy Forum
I suggest you find the book FOUNDING MOTHERS AND FATHERS: GENDERED POWER AND THE FORMING OF AMERICAN SOCIETY by Mary Beth Norton.
It's a 1996 Alfred A. Knopf publication and will probably be in a University Library (as it's very academic). It has 12 pages in the Prologue about the family of Nicholas Pinion.
They were not your common 17th century New England family. They were in and out of the court system for two generations, one was even hung for killing her baby. It's quite a read.
