I would be most interested in your Pinion
family from Cartersville. I have a William
Riley Pinion that married Francis (Frankie)
Lucretia Goodson in Cartersville. William
was struck by lighting in June 27 1876 in
his home in Stamp Creek District, Cartersville Ga. He married August 06 1854
to Frankie.
There grandson JoNeal Pinion just passed
away a few weeks ago but I did not find
out from him who he thought his grandfather
was. JoNeal was a hugh colletor of Indian
artifacts and the history of the Indians
in Cartersville. I do not know if this would
indicate he had Indian blood lines or not.
I did not ask him that question in the short
period of time that I knew him, unfortunately.
I would love to correspond with you on the
Pinion family as I would think that being
from the same area would give our two lines
a good chance of being conneted.
Please respond
