Roy, I never went back into the Virginia Pinion/Pennells due to lack of access to records. What dates and places in Virginia are your John and his son Thomas? After all a generation (or even two) are missing between the immigrant William Pinion to the Benjamin Paniel/Pinion in North Carolina.
Thomas is a given name carried down into the NC Pinions for many generations.
Yes, I wish that Reuben's first wife's name could be found. They are my ancestors. Thanks for our discussion.
