Thanks for the information and I am sorry it took me so long to reply. I was in Buffalo, NY on the 14th of last month and am just now getting caught up on things.

I believed my roots tie back to the Stokes Pinion that married Nancy Talley, and that they had 13 children; BUT I keep getting stuck with the father of my great-grandfather, ANDREW JACKSON PINION, married Elizabeth Bramlett.
I can go down from Andrew towards me, but can't seem to find Andrew's father, whom I think was named William, but can't find anything to prove it. Have you ever heard of an Andrew J. Pinion and who his parents might be???? Help!

My great-grandfather was JAMES WESLEY PINION, who married Mary M. Calton. He was a baptist minister who was born in Georgia, moved to Missouri where he was ordained and then on into Oklahoma, to Ofuskee County, where he and his wife are buried in the Morse Cemetery.

Do you have any information on Jeptha & Nancy Darnell Pinion and their children? Also do you know where Jeptha died and is buried along with his wife?

If you care to correspond, please use my email address as I don't get on the web very often. Thank you again for the information you supplied, I'll try it and see what I come up with.

Prayers and happy searching,
