Have Any Info Re: James Pinion - Jackson Co., NC ?

I'm searching for any information about the James Pinion that married Sarah Frady on 9 April 1882 in Jackson County, North Carolina? They had a daughter that's listed in delayed birth registrations; Tallie Pinion born 5 July 1884 in Webster Twp., Jackson Co., NC. According to the record, James was born about 1862 in Tennessee.

Since Jackson County is so close to the reservation for the Eastern Band Cherokees, I'm hoping his family line is among those that filed a claim with the government. Does anyone have any information about James & Sarah or their descendants? I'd also like to know who his parents were and where they lived but any information will be appreciated.
