Census records have proven that "Tallie" PINION was a SON born July 5, 1884 in Webster Twp., Jackson Co., NC, to James and Sarah (FRADY) according to delayed birth registrations. Tallie and his wife Laura (don't know maiden name) appeared in the 1910 and 1920 census records with these children:

Alonzo Pinion born abt.1906
Sara Lue Pinion born abt.1910
Fred Pinion born abt.1913
Earnest Pinion born abt.1915
Elsie Pinion born abt.1917

Tallie appeared again with a different wife--Fannie/Frannie in the 1930 Jackson Co., NC, census.

Tallie's mother, Sarah may be the one buried at Stillwell Cemetery, Webster Twp., Jackson Co., NC: Sarah Pinion b.17 Sept. 1866 d.2 Jun 1894 according to the Jackson County Cemeteries book. I don't know how accurate the information is, nor whether the unmarked grave beside Sarah may be her spouse James. Or did James and another wife leave Jackson County for greener pastures elsewhere? No death records have been found yet for Tallie/Talley nor any wife or children.

Can you shed any light on any connection to your family or is Tallie's name a coincidence??
