My gg grandmother, Martha Ellen Pinnell, was one of his daughters. For years, my family has referred to her as Martha Ellen Pinion, presumably because of the 1850 census, but with "Pinnellville" existing in Jones County, where many of my ancestors resided, I've recently changed how I list her in my database.

Did you ever locate any other descendants or ancestors of Richard Pinnell?
