I am trying to research my family line. My name is Frederick William Pinckard, My father was Charles Leonard Pinckard born Oct. 31, 1920 In Berwind WV. His great great grand father was Capt. John Pinckard a commisioned slave trader. My information on my father is very limited. Here is a little information I know. His mother's name was Ann Dischman, His father was Charles Leonard Pinckard,His brother was Joseph Kirk Pinckard (not sure of the spelling on the middle name) he also had a set of twin sisters one of the sisters name was Lyle Higinbothom. Charles L. Pinckard was in the WW II in the U.S. Army 36th Mech. Infantry Division. He moved to St. Petersburg Fl in or around 1935-38. From what I understand he had a cousin named William Reeves, and Don (or Donald) Whitehead. also from what i understand about his twin sisters when they were children they attended the opening of the Gandy Bridge in St. Petersburg Fl.

Please send any information as I would like to learn of my family hertiage.
Frederick W. Pinckard
