Dee, Have you had any success tracking down your ancestor, Richard N. Pinkard? My grandmother was a Pinkard born in Franklin Co. I do not recall his name in my research, but I know her branch was in Franklin, Henry and Pittsylvania Counties. Prior to that, the Pinkard/Pinckards were in Lancaster and Northumberland Counties. One branch was also in Fauquier Co. Could he be the son of James Pinkard and Elizabeth Edmonds? He would have been born mid to late 1700's.
