Carrie, this does indeed sound like the same Mary. I have siblings John, Robert Charles (one person or two?), Bailey and Elias, from the book "Robert Woods of Ireland and Descendants in America" by Weightstill Arno Woods (1909). This is as far back as I have gotten.

The 1810 census has a Molley Pinkard, who is > 45, and had one male child, 16-25 in the household. This Molley is directly after John and Bailey in the list, so I have guessed that she is their mother, and therefore the mother of Mary Pinkard.

I would be glad to e-mail you all the information I have on the Pinkards, although it contains a lot of surmise and guesswork. Drew
