Thank you, Brandon. I suspect that James may have been named after the Alfred Pinkard family that lived in Morgan County on Pine Mountain at the same time that his parents did. Do you think that you might be kin to Alfred Pinkard? Many of the folks on Pine Mountain moved to Chambers County to work in the mills.
