I have found in my genealogy created by Emma Rachel Hill that her ancestor Adam Hunter (born approx 1796 in Antrim, Ulster Ireland)came to the states with his two sisters Margaret and Nancy. Reportedly Nancy was married to or married a Pinkerton when she got here).
I'm not sure if any of this helps, but that is the only piece I have that may fit.
Brian
