Thanks, Don & Bill, for info on Reuben Pinkham line. I previously had only the Sinnett info and am delighted to learn the additional sources and info.

FYI: Vesta A. Pinkham m. 26 Nov 1853 to Nathan Calvin Kempton. She died 31 Oct 1917, Sunapee. Their children were: Clara F. (born 1854), Leila F. (born 14 Mar 1857, died 14 Sep 1950, Rollins Herbert (born 29 Jul 1859, died 29 Mar 1938, married Lora Estelle ELLIS)(Rollins and Lora are my g-grandparents), Alice T. (born 8 Oct 1861, died 20 Dec 1871), Edwin T. (born 1864, married Blanche ?), George W. (born 19 Jul 1865, died 20 Sep 1865), Ida M. (born 23 Feb 1867, married ? Goetze), Etta Mabel (born 11 May 1868, married ? Batty).

Do either of you know anything about Ruth Folger who was married to Christopher Pinkham? On Vesta Pinkham Kempton's death certificate, "Folger" is given as her mother's maiden name, which I have long taken for an error. But why it was given continues to puzzle me. She outlived her husband so he was not supplying the info. Ruth Folger would have been Vesta's g-grandmother, which seems a bit removed from someone to have picked that as a maiden name .... but perhaps she lived long and had lived with the family (although I don't find such a possibility in the censuses that I have). Any thoughts most welcome.
