I am a descendant of Thomas Pinkham and Margaret Vincent of Woodstock. I believe the Pamelia who married Peter Russell is their daughter, born 7 Jan 1805. Thomas Pinkham was living next to Peter and Pamelia Russell in Woodstock in 1850. In 1860 and 1870, after Thomas and Margaret were dead, their unmarried daughter Sarah Pinkham was living with Peter and Pamelia Russell; which would be a likely home for the unmarried younger sister.
I think the confusion stems from there being two Pamelias about the same age. The Abijah Pinkham born 22 July 1763 apparently had a daughter Pamelia born 6 Sept 1805. Stackpole's "History of Durham," apparently attributes the wrong Pamelia as having married Peter Russell.
The Thomas Pinkham of Woodstock was, I believe, a grandson of Abijah Pinkham, Sr., born in 1734. I agree with Martin that there doesn't seem to be solid evidence of who Abijah Sr,'s father was, but it's likely that he is in some way a descendant of the original immigrant Richard Pinkham.
I envy you for living in New Hampshire! I would appreciate hearing about what records you find.
