1. Richard PINKHAM. Born abt 1675 in Dover, New Hampshire. Richard died aft 1758; he was 83. Occupation: Housewright/Carpenter. He was the son of John-2 and Martha (Otis) Pinkham.

He was the Richard Pinkham who had lot 55 of the second division of Rochester, part of which he deeds to sons Tristram and Richard (Jr.) He married secondly Mary (Hill) Welch widow of Benjamin Welch
He probably had two daughters: Elizabeth (Betty) who m. Samuel Cromwell in 1727 and Ann who m. William Geddis in 1727.

bef 1696 when Richard was 21, he first married Elizabeth LEIGHTON, daughter of Thomas LEIGHTON Jr. & Elizabeth NUTTER, in Dover, New Hampshire. Born abt 1673 in Dover, New Hampshire. Elizabeth died in Dover, New Hampshire bef 1757; she was 84.

John married Abigail STARBIRD. Born on 29 Sep 1696 in Dover, New Hampshire. Abigail died aft 1747; she was 50. Daughter of Thomas and Abigail (Dam) Starbird

3. Elizabeth PINKHAM. Born abt 1705 in Dover, New Hampshire. Elizabeth died aft 1752; she was 47.

On 4 Dec 1727 when Elizabeth was 22, she married Samuel CROMWELL, son of Joshua CROMWELL & Lydia, in Dover, New Hampshire. Born abt 1706 in Dover, New Hampshire. Samuel died aft 1752; he was 46. Born abt 1706.

4. Thomas PINKHAM. Born abt 1708 in Dover, New Hampshire. Thomas died aft 1744; he was 36.

Is probably that Thomas "Jr." of Dover, Fisherman who is sued on 8 Feb 1734/5 by Elizabeth Allcock of Portsmouth, shopkeeper (#10174). It is his children baptised in Dover in 1744; probable father of Abijah Pinkham of Durham (who names his eldest Thomas and is not a Quaker).

5. Richard PINKHAM Jr. Born abt 1710 in Dover, New Hampshire. Richard died in Barrington, New Hampshire on 5 Jun 1778; he was 68.3

abt 1734 when Richard was 24, he first married Abigail. Born abt 1715. Abigail died in Barrington, New Hampshire on 23 Jul 1766; she was 51.3

They had one child:
       11       i.       Samuel (~1735-1780)

aft 1766 when Richard was 56, he second married Love. Love died on 28 Jul 1779 in Barrington, New Hampshire.3

6. Tristram PINKHAM. Born abt 1712 in Dover, New Hampshire. Tristram died in Steuben, Maine aft 1777; he was 65. Occupation: Housewright;carpenter.

Son is called Tristram Pinkham, Jr. in a 1777 Deed (Strafford 2:356)

bef Mar 1745 when Tristram was 33, he first married Martha HAYES, daughter of Samuel HAYES & Leah DAM, in Dover, New Hampshire.4 Born on 16 Aug 1721 in Dover, New Hampshire. Martha died in Dover, New Hampshire bef 1762; she was 40.

Arbitrary placement (temporary); seems more likely than son of Otis.

8. Joseph PINKHAM. Born abt 1735 in Dover, New Hampshire. Christened on 13 Nov 1744 in Dover, New Hampshire.5 Joseph died in Jackson, New Hampshire in Aug 1819; he was 84.

Age at death given as 84 years; Rockingham Deeds 84:319 shows first wife as daughter of Clement Deering

abt 1760 when Joseph was 25, he first married Elizabeth DEERING. Elizabeth died bef 1776.

Christened on 7 Oct 1739 in Dover, New Hampshire.6 Samuel died in Madbury, New Hampshire bef 1781; he was 42. Died Intestate (Strafford County Probate #394)

19. Elizabeth PINKHAM. Born abt 1760 in Dover, New Hampshire.

20. Abigail PINKHAM. Born abt 1762 in Dover, New Hampshire.
