Mamie and Helen Pinkham/ Gilroy, Calif / 1880

I am interested in finding out if the Mamie and Helen listed on the 1880 in Gilroy are the same girls listed on the 1870 and 1880 census in Stockton with Charles E Pinkham. The 1880 has Mamie and Helen as nieces to Malcolm and Mattie Mount in Gilroy, California. They are the correct ages to be the same girls. Mamie is listed as a music teacher with would fit with Martha Pinkham, their mother being a music teacher as well. I can not pin down the correct name for this child as she has been listed as Maria, Mirra or now maybe Mamie. If these two families are related is the connection though the Mount/Pinkham or Cobb/Pinkham? If anyone could shed some light, I would appreciate it.
