I am looking for any info re Wm Pinkham and wife Nancy Pelton of the town of Washington, Maine. In the 1850 and 1860 Census Wm's birth yr figures out to be 1806 in Maine. Their 11 children: Amanda b. 1827, Eliza b. 1828, MaryA. b.1830, Cyrus C. b. 1831, Alice b. 1833, Thomas b. 1836, James b. 1839, Emily F. b. 1843, Charels E. b. 1845, Harriet b. 1848, Martha b. 1853.
I had thought William was the son of William and Lucy Strout of Steuben, ME but now I'm not so sure. Our ancestor is Cyrus C. Pinkham who died in the Civil War....through his son Thomas W. Pinkham who died in Worcester MA .
Any idea as to who are the parents of this William born 1806 in Maine?
