William J Pinkham 1808-1882 is my great-great-great grandfather. My research shows that he was born in Hudson, N Y and married Phebe Cox in 1832. I am looking for a list of their children. At some point I found the following children: Matthew Coffin (he is my line of Pinkhams),Anna W, Mary Anna, George Cox, Martha C, Caroline, Lydia C, and Elizabeth P. I don't know where I found this and haven't been able to find it again! I am looking for an exact birthdate for Matthew Coffin Pinkham. I am pretty sure he was the oldest child, but I've found birthdates on him from 1833 to 1840 to 1843. He was a Yankee soldier who stayed in the south after the Civil War. This is how my line of Pinkham's became Southern! He married Cansada Lewis from DeKalb Co. Ala. Their son William Jonathan Pinkham (1866-1951) came to De Kalb, Texas (Bowie Co) in the early 1900's and this is where my grandfather,Dexter Mark Pinkham(1904-1999) and my father, Gerald Mark Pinkham (1927-1996)were born. Any information on Matthew Coffin Pinkham would be helpful.
