Laura Pinto, 91, of Port Charlotte, Fla., formerly of Wellesley passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2010. She was the beloved wife of Alfred Pinto for 63 years. Devoted mother of Lorelei Jope and her husband Robert, of E. Freetown, Karen Goodwin and her husband Jesse, of Brooksville, Fla., Deborah Gordon and her husband Kevin, of Wellesley, Stephen Pinto and his wife Maria, of Weeki Wachee, Fla., and Kurt Pinto, of Holliston. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Laura was an active member of the Wellesley Baptist Church for many years. She taught Sunday School, acted as a deaconess and prepared many church dinners throughout the years. She loved to be surrounded by family and her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were always close by. Laura enjoyed many camping trips combined with mountain climbing in New Hampshire with family and friends. She was a joy to be with and made many friends. Funeral service was held from the Taylor Funeral Home in Punta Gorda, Fla., Friday, April 9, 2010.
