My great grandfather was Theodor PIONKOWSKI. He was born in the Town of New Hope (Portage County), Wisconsin on 03 Feb 1884 and died in Stevens Point, WI on 25 Aug 1962. His parents were Michael Pionkowski and Josephine Wesierska. Michael’s father was Franz Pionkowski. Michael was born in 1851 in Poland. He had four brothers: Joseph (ca. 1855); Frank (ca 1855); Bernard (May 1860); Peter (May 1862). I believe that Bernard and Peter would have been my great grandfather’s uncles. Nick Pionkowski would have been my great grandfather’s cousin and nephew to Bernard and Peter as well.
